Jon Pearson is a partner at New & Improved and an internationally known speaker, thinking skills consultant, and author. He has performed on stage, television, and with businesses and schools for over fifteen years and has worked with over one million students, teachers, and business people around the world.
Corporations for which he has worked include: Clorox, Kellogg’s, General Mills, Novell, and the US Navy. The United States government selected him to tour schools throughout Asia. In addition he has worked with over one thousand schools throughout America and received from the U.S. Patent Model Foundation’s national “Creativity Conference for Educators” the highest workshop ratings in its history.
As a keynote speaker for business and schools, he has addressed many state and national conferences and been a regular speaker for the National Inventive Thinking Association, The Creative Problem Solving Institute, The California Association For Gifted Education, and the International Alliance for Learning.
Jon is an adjunct professor at the University of California at Riverside where he teaches courses in multiple intelligences. He has degrees in philosophy, the arts, a multiple subject teaching credential, and an honorary degree from Universidad Catolica de Santa Maria Arequipa, Peru. He has been a cartoonist for the Oakland Tribune, a graphic artist, a piano mover, a university instructor, and an extra for the New York Metropolitan Opera.
Currently he lives in Los Angeles, travels widely and designs creative thinking and speaking programs for businesses and schools. He would rather do this than eat ice cream.
