Chris is a Partner at New & Improved where he focuses primarily on organizational and leadership development. He customizes approaches to development for individuals, teams, and the organization as a whole. As an executive coach, Chris helps his clients identify issues and strategies to optimize their performance in immediate situations and over the long term. Chris also works with teams to help them come together, solve problems, and position themselves for future success. 

Chris is also the co–author with Gerard Puccio of the book The Innovative Team: Unleashing the Creative Potential of Any Team (Wiley, 2011) which offers a new approach for teams and team leaders — or anyone who wants to kick–start innovation in their workplace or their lives.

Some of the clients to benefit from Chris’ work include: Ernst & Young, New York University Hospital, TE Connectivity, Mount Sinai Hospital, Johnson & Johnson, Biogen Idec, and many others. Additionally, he has been an adjunct professor of business communication for the Stern School of Business at New York University and a guest lecturer at Northwestern University.

Chris is qualified to administer and debrief FourSight, the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator and the KEYS climate for creativity and productivity assessment, as well as the Center for Creative Leadership suite of assessment tools including both multi–rater and 360–degree assessments. He holds a Master’s Degree in Creativity and Innovation from SUNY College at Buffalo, and a certificate in Organizational Behavior Principles and Practices from Columbia University.

Chris lives in Seattle with his wife and two children. When he is not working or playing with his boys, he is often seen in his vegetable garden covered in dirt.
